What exactly is a Homebase Board?
It's a wall-mounted command center for your household — calendars, chores, meal plans, and reminders in one place. We size and lay it out around how your family actually operates, then build and install it.
Do I need the House of Order app to use a board?
No. The board works entirely on its own. The app is for households that want the same plan on their phones, assignment tracking, and reminders that follow people out the door.
Can you install in a rental?
Yes. We carry renter-friendly mounting options that hold real weight without permanent wall damage. Mention it when you book and we'll spec accordingly.
What is a family website used for?
It's a private, members-only site for your family — photos, documents, events, announcements, and family history, with per-person accounts and permissions. Nothing is public and nothing is sold to advertisers.
What does an Electronic Device & Internet Security Setup include?
We set up parental control software on your laptops and desktops (Qustodio, Spyrix, Apple Screen Time), configure kid-safe phones such as Pinwheel, Bark and Gab, handle filtering at the network level with your Xfinity gear or a Firewalla, and set limits on media and app accounts — Plex, Disney Plus, Netflix, and social platforms.
How do you help with screen time at home?

What areas do you serve?
In-home services are offered locally; boards and hardware ship as kits, and the app, family websites, and remote security work are available anywhere. Ask when you book and we'll confirm.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is set per product and service rather than quoted case by case, so you know the cost when you order instead of waiting on an estimate. If your household needs something custom, mention it with your order and we'll confirm the details with you.
Do I need an account to book?
No — the booking form works without one. Creating an account lets you keep your details on file and see your requests in one place.
